Combating Stigma

We believe that combating the sigma of addiction and recovery comes through educating the public about the reality of the disease, offering opportunities to engage with community partners (faith communities, educators, physicians, county departments) around topics such as trauma’s role in addiction, and stigma-reducing language, as well as sharing our story of hope in the face of tragedy.
